Thank you for all the comments to my previous post, I will reply to you all shortly. It's been a bit difficult with my one blurry eye and I needa enlarge fonts so big to see and need to concentrate so hard so i have been putting it off. It's a special day for me today i've reached my 6 month mark in TSW today and I also have my cataract surgery for left eye this afternoon. Hope today is my "turn corners" day in health!
Thinking of all you warriors and carers out there! Stay strong xxx

DeleteHi Affaye! Glad to read a new post. I was checking back often to see when you'd reappear. Great to read the surgery went well. Congratulations on six months in. I definitely noticed improvements in my 6-8 month stretch. Although I'm afraid that winter is set in up here and it has resulted in a turn for the worst for me. I'm optimistic that since the spring will bring me up to 18 months that I will improve greatly with the warm weather come April. That being said I really hope that the summer will give you the relief you deserve at this point. My sleep pattern is still messed up but I'm getting to sleep pretty deeply by around 2:30 am now. I wake up a few times but at nine in the morning I wake up and feel total relief for a bit. I just lie there not being able to feel my body for an hour. It's so nice. Then I have to force myself up and deal with the tight itchy skin for a good hour and a half. But let me tell you that one hour feels soooo good. It's funny how we find the little things to focus on to get us through. I'm still using you for inspiration in my bad moments so thank you.

Thanks Cory! Great u having improvements in ur skin. yes i think dry weather def helps. hope u will improve more! how many hours of sleep do u get a night now? it's great being able to sleep again right? haha i get up around 1:30am every night and scratch a bit then fall back asleep an hour later so i try to sleep early so i can more sleep and dr says time between 11pm - 1am is the liver detoxing so it's very important to be asleep that time for it to work and repair itself. im glad my stories are inspiring u. thank u so much for ur encouragement too xxx
DeleteHI! I didn't realize you had a blog! My heart goes out to you for ur surgery!!
ReplyDeleteAlso wanted to comment on your skin progress and I think your skin looks so much better than the beginning. I couldn't imagine dealing with so many scabs as I am quite a picker myself. Do you bathe often? I'd suggest trying to go several days without showering and see if that helps on top of the moisturizer withdrawal.
Best,
Megan
hi Megan! thank u my surgery went well and doing my right eye tmr!! no i don't bath, i don't really like baths in general. i bathed everyday back in the 2009 TSW it was very bad then. i am showering every 1-3 days haha so dirty hehe but i think it helps the skin recovery better. hope u well doing better each day! xxx
DeleteHi
ReplyDeleteNowadays people are feeling the need of something natural in every field, specially in the field of health they are moving toward because of it's natural and clear image of effects and actions
hi james, totally agree. i have a lot of friends who have been thru serious health issues and just don't believe in western medicine anymore and go to see naturpaths and herbalist. it's funny how medicine is advancing so much but also going backwards to some traditional remedies
